Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Need Cum Merit-Based Scholarship is an opportunity for deserving and talented students from a specific area/region of Pakistan. The scholarship is funded by the Pakistan Engineering Council and the aim of this scholarship is to support the middle-class families’ students in higher education studies in any public sector leading higher education institution and enabling them as pride and proud engineers with desired competence and skills as per industrial need and development of the society.
Through Pakistan Engineering Council Need cum merit Based Scholarship almost 125 scholarships will be awarded to the deserving student of the underprivileged area (Baluchistan, Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Tribal Area, KPK, Sindh, and Punjab) of Pakistan in one a year and a total of 500 Scholarships in a cycle of 4 years. This Scholarship will be awarded on yearly basis and a full tuition fee, student living expenses, and books fees will be partially covered by the scholarship organization. Once the students got the selection and then he/she can apply every year for Scholarship renewal with a desired form or application issue by the university administration.

- 125 Seats of Scholarships per year.

Eligibility criteria for Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Scholarship
- The student must be enrolled in any PEC accredited/approved undergraduate engineering program listed on PEC official website.
- The student must be enrolled in any PEC-approved public sector university.
- Students must have domicile of underprivileged areas (Baluchistan, Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Tribal Areas, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Punjab)
- The total family income should be not more than Rs. 50,000 per month.
- The students availing of any other scholarship are not eligible to apply for Pakistan Engineering Council Need cum Merit-Based Scholarship.
- Students of Private Sector universities or institutes are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
How to apply for Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Scholarship
- All the eligible students can download the Scholarship form https://www.pec.org.pk/scholarship.aspx
- Fill the scholarship application form completely and attached all the required documents and submit the scholarship application form along with the required documents to your respective university student finance office.
The assessment and scrutiny will be carried out by the Pakistan Engineering Council Scholarship official committee in consultation with the respective University for the award of the PEC Scholarship as per the eligibility criteria.
